8 Advantages of Concrete Leveling Foam

Have you ever tripped entering your home and looked back to see that your concrete stoop slab has sunk below your homes floor? Or noticed that when you take your morning run you have to avoid the un-level patch of sidewalk sticking up? This happens to a lot of home's driveways, sidewalks, patios, and stoops.

The concrete slab that was poured years ago has started to settle and sink making the slabs uneven causing an eye sore and a tripping hazard. One expensive and inconvenient method is to replace the entire slab and pour brand new concrete. Replacing the slab is not only time consuming and expensive, but it doesn't solve the issue. The new concrete will be more likely to eventually settle due to the freshly placed soil underneath. However, there is a concrete repair method that can save you time and is less likely to settle again.

 PolyLEVEL Installation

The PolyLevel system is a state of the art method for raising a concrete slab. Rather than using a mixture of mud and concrete, like mudjacking, the PolyLevel method utilizes high-density polymer to raise concrete slabs back to a desired level. The installer will drill small holes in the slab about the size of a penny. Then using specialized equipment, the installer will inject structural grade polymer into the hole filling the void between the concrete and the earth underneath. Once the void is completely filled the polyurethane begins to expand raising the slab to a precise and stable level.

Not only is this method one of the most technologically advanced, but it also has some important advantages over alternative methods such as mudjacking and concrete replacing.

  • Quick cure time, can be driven on within 30 minutes or less after installation!

  • Waterproof and will not was out beneath the slab in the future.

  • High capacity lifting strength ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 per square foot.
