Foundation piering is one way to level a sinking foundation and prevent further damage to your home. This process involves installing supportive piers underground until they reach stable soil or bedrock. Then the weight of your house will be transferred to these piers so that it's no longer resting on the unstable soil.

At our company, we also offer crack repair services to help strengthen the foundation of your home. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to fix any cracks or damage that may be present. Our experts will work diligently to ensure that your foundation is back in good condition and that your home is safe and secure.

When you call Midwest Foundation Repair at 1-844-210-0982, we'll provide a free inspection of your foundation to help you determine what steps you need to take next. We're fully insured for all our projects, and we provide a 25-year warranty against manufacturing defects on foundation products — so don't hesitate to give us a call today.

Crawl spaces are often used for storage or left unfinished because they are not visible to guests and are not a part of everyday life. However, neglecting your crawl space can cause serious problems. There are a variety of issues that can arise if you do not maintain your crawl space properly.

Signs of a crawl space issue:

  • Structural damage
  • Fungus/mold growth
  • Insect infestations
  • Pests moving into your home
  • Unpleasant odors

If any of these problems go untreated for too long, they can seriously damage your home. If structural damage occurs due to water leakage or mold growth, this could cause serious safety issues. If insects move into your home or mold grows unchecked, it could result in costly repairs later on down the road. Midwest Foundation Repair provides crawl space structural repair, crawl space dehumidification and crawl space encapsulation in Monroe and nearby.

Concrete Contractor Offering Reliable Concrete Repair in Monroe

As the premier concrete leveling & lifting contractor in Monroe, Midwest Foundation Repair has a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing a service that is fast, effective and efficient. Whether you have a problem with uneven concrete or your driveway is sinking in certain areas, we have the solution for you. Our professional technicians can quickly and accurately analyze and repair concrete problems, regardless of size or complexity.

If you have uneven concrete, it can be an eyesore and create tripping hazards. It can also cause damage over time to vehicles as they drive over it or even cause personal injury if someone trips or falls on it. PolyLevel concrete leveling is a process that uses pressure injection to fill in voids under the surface of concrete slabs and raise them up to their original level. The process is quick, efficient, and cost-effective. It will save you money compared to other methods such as replacing entire driveways or sidewalks with new concrete.

Midwest Foundation Repair’s concrete lifting & leveling services include:

  • Concrete Driveway Leveling
  • Concrete Sidewalk Leveling
  • Concrete Patio Leveling
  • Concrete Slab Leveling
  • Interior Slab Leveling
  • PolyLevel - Expansive polyurethane foam for lifting sidewalks, driveways, patios, stairs & all sunken and settling concrete. Less invasive, more eco-friendly than mudjacking and other leveling methods.

We also offer comprehensive concrete repair services that can restore your concrete slab's appearance and stability. Your concrete can become damaged over time when it is repeatedly exposed to moisture, freezing temperatures, and shifting soils. When your concrete driveway or sidewalk is in poor shape, it compromises the look and value of your home or business. That's why we offer solutions to repair and protect your concrete slabs, including:

    • Cracked Concrete Repair
    • Concrete Sealant
    • Sidewalk Repair
    • Concrete Driveway Repair

By repairing cracked, damaged concrete with proven effective methods, we can extend its lifespan and prevent further damage. Schedule a free estimate for our concrete repair services today!

Job Stories From Monroe, IA
Bowing Walls Fixed in Monroe, IA

Ben was doing some woodworking in his basement and noticed that one of his basement walls was bowing in slightly.  He didn't think too much of it until a second wall started bowing in too. As the walls continued to bow, he decided it was time to call someone because he was concerned about the structural stability of his home.

After Midwest Basement Systems evaluated the situation, the solution presented included equipping Ben’s basement with twelve ceiling high PowerBraces. These will stabilize Ben’s basement walls and prevent them from bowing in any further. With patience and regular tightening of the braces, the walls can be eventually straightened out completely.

During heavy rain and melting snow, water seeps into the basement. We bought the house just about a year ago, and are trying to find a waterproofing solution that will hopefully save the drywall and interior work that has already been done. The house has settled some and there are some definite low points that direct water right towards the foundation. We had heard an exterior drainage system might help, but we are gathering information and quotes before we proceed.

I would like to waterproof my basement.
Project Location: Monroe, IA
We just did a new block foundation and seem to have water seepage. The person that installed the basement can't seem to figure it out and I just need another option- we haven't even moved into the house yet- it is new construction. It has been tiled, tarred, we have a sump pump- it seems as though everything should just work right yet water is finding ways in. We are getting gutters in the next 3 weeks, the house is getting grading next week, we had plans to finish the basement so we have it framed but I don't feel comfortable doing that now.
Project Location: Monroe, IA
Our basement has a block foundation, and on occasion has had water during heavy rain events. Fortunately, the water does flow to the drain, but with a growing family, we would like to be able to utilize the space in the future for more than just storage, and not have to worry about what comes with a damp, dirty basement. It does not have a sump pump. We would like to make the space more livable and potentially finish parts of it. An assessment and quote to ensure a safe and waterproof basement would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time.

Basement wall are leaking everywhere.
Project Location: Monroe, IA
I have recently purchased a new half of a duplex with a 4 foot crawl space beneath. I am not at all familiar with crawl spaces and what is recommended. Presently my house is situated on a lot (and surrounding lots) that drain to my house instead of away. I have had standing water surrounding my house much of the winter. So far my crawl space has no water. The contractor sprayed a type of insulation on the floor of the crawl space that he says will keep out any moisture and I will not have to worry about mold, etc. There is no drain tile surrounding the house. Is my crawl space sufficiently protected from water/moisture, or what should be done to make it so? Do you come on-site to do free evaluations and estimates? I am anxious to get this taken care of as soon as possible so I can landscape my lot this spring. Thank you.

There is water in all corners of the basement, there is a sump pump, but not keeping basement dry. House itself is apx 950 square feet. I was wondering if I could get a free estimate on fixing.
