The installation crew handled all of issues of working in a very small space and having to go around many corners in good humor and very professionally. I know this was not easy for them. At the very beginning of their work the water pipe coming into the house broke and they handled this situation very professionally. The day the installation crew did the install it was cold and wet outside and the ground was partially frozen, and they had to stay late because of the water pipe breaking. These men were really pleasant even after all the weather and problems they encountered at my place. I am very thankful I had Midwest Foundation Repair do this work. I had a very pleasant experience with each person I met.

PowerBraces Installed in Grinnell, IA

Ryan noticed that he had cracks in his basement walls. He called Midwest Basement Systems as soon as he saw those because he knew it could only get worse. He set up an appointment for one of our System Designer Specialists to come out and give him a free quote. Our Specialist inspected the house and noticed the walls caving in. He told Ryan that he should have PowerBraces installed which would help stop the bowing and potentially bring the wall back to it's original position. Ryan went through with the proposed solution. We had a foreman come out and install the PowerBraces.

New Water Proofing System Keeps Basement Dry in Grinnell, IA

A homeowner in Grinnell, IA was growing tried of water coming into the finished area of her basement. Looking for a wet basement solution, she decided to give Midwest Foundation Repair a call.

The crew was able to identify that the current waterproofing system was not working properly. Water was coming out and running under the carpet to the drain on the other side of the wall. We installed a new water proofing system with WaterGuard and a Triplesafe Sump Pump. The space was also encapsulated with CleanSpace to prevent any water from coming through.
