This homeowners buried discharge line was originally installed too shallow, causing it to jut out and cause problems with mowing and lawn health - two things that a buried discharge line should make better! We reinstalled the discharge, burying it the appropriate depth and moving it slightly so that it would no longer stick out awkwardly or kill the grass.

Phyllis has had work done by Midwest, many times. So she knew who to call when she needed her window wells replaced. Her current wells were uncovered, metal wells that allowed for leaves, dirt, and water to fill up in the window wells. All of these elements could cause further problems with water getting into Phyllis' basement.
For this project, PolyWells were installed, with well covers. These were easily installed in one day and helped with the curb appeal of Phyllis' home. She can now rest easy that there will be no build-up in her wells.

Daryl N. In Adel, Iowa was having an issue with the old, buried discharge line that ran from his sump pump in the basement to his yard. A buried discharge line is a great way to redirect water up and away from a homes foundation, keeping the line out of sight. Unfortunately, Daryl’s discharge line was installed a bit too shallow, exposing it, which ultimately led to an unfortunate run-in with a lawnmower. The way the discharge was installed was also washing out the grass directly in the outlets path, causing unsightly patches in Daryl’s lawn.
To resolve the issue, we installed a new discharge line - burying it at the appropriate depth to keep it hidden. We also moved the outlet to a rock bed so that water could flow out without disrupting the surrounding grass.
Daryl was very happy to have the discharge line out of sight and working properly.
