At our company, we also offer crack repair services to help strengthen the foundation of your home. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to fix any cracks or damage that may be present. Crawl spaces are often used for storage or left unfinished because they are not visible to guests and are not a part of everyday life. However, neglecting your crawl space can cause serious problems. There are a variety of issues that can arise if you do not maintain your crawl space properly.

Signs of a crawl space issue:

  • Structural damage
  • Fungus/mold growth
  • Insect infestations
  • Pests moving into your home
  • Unpleasant odors

If any of these problems go untreated for too long, they can seriously damage your home. If structural damage occurs due to water leakage or mold growth, this could cause serious safety issues. If insects move into your home or mold grows unchecked, it could result in costly repairs later on down the road. Midwest Foundation Repair provides crawl space structural repair, crawl space dehumidification and crawl space encapsulation in Belmond and nearby.

Concrete Contractor Offering Reliable Concrete Repair in Belmond

As the premier concrete leveling & lifting contractor in Belmond, Midwest Foundation Repair has a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing a service that is fast, effective and efficient. Whether you have a problem with uneven concrete or your driveway is sinking in certain areas, we have the solution for you. Our professional technicians can quickly and accurately analyze and repair concrete problems, regardless of size or complexity.

If you have uneven concrete, it can be an eyesore and create tripping hazards. It can also cause damage over time to vehicles as they drive over it or even cause personal injury if someone trips or falls on it. PolyLevel concrete leveling is a process that uses pressure injection to fill in voids under the surface of concrete slabs and raise them up to their original level. The process is quick, efficient, and cost-effective. It will save you money compared to other methods such as replacing entire driveways or sidewalks with new concrete.

Midwest Foundation Repair’s concrete lifting & leveling services include:

  • Concrete Driveway Leveling
  • Concrete Sidewalk Leveling
  • Concrete Patio Leveling
  • Concrete Slab Leveling
  • Interior Slab Leveling
  • PolyLevel - Expansive polyurethane foam for lifting sidewalks, driveways, patios, stairs & all sunken and settling concrete. Less invasive, more eco-friendly than mudjacking and other leveling methods.

We also offer comprehensive concrete repair services that can restore your concrete slab's appearance and stability. Your concrete can become damaged over time when it is repeatedly exposed to moisture, freezing temperatures, and shifting soils. When your concrete driveway or sidewalk is in poor shape, it compromises the look and value of your home or business. That's why we offer solutions to repair and protect your concrete slabs, including:

    • Cracked Concrete Repair
    • Concrete Sealant
    • Sidewalk Repair
    • Concrete Driveway Repair

By repairing cracked, damaged concrete with proven effective methods, we can extend its lifespan and prevent further damage. Schedule a free estimate for our concrete repair services today!

When the water table rises, water seeps up through cracks in the floor. We also have water seeping in between the sidewalk and the foundation and running down the wall. With the 5 inches of rain we had over the last couple of days we had about 8" in the basement. We have two sump pumps running to pump water out. We'd like to know what can be done to eliminate water from running in around the foundation. I don't know if anything can be done about the water coming up through the floor. This happens when the water table gets too high. We want to know what our options are. Thank you.

My wife and I are looking at buying a home in town. On the southeast corner there is a room, about 12 by 12 and they get water in there. They have a well window and I don't know if that contributes to it or not. As far as I know the rest of the basement is dry. The house faces the east on Luick Lane in Belmond. Luick slopes toward the house. I just want to know if it would be an expensive fix or not. Thanks

I have a leak into my finished basement. I tore the carpet up where it was leaking in and found that the concrete floor was cracked. I am assuming that the concrete foundation is cracked as well. Need it fixed ASAP as every time it rains...water enters.
Project Location: Belmond, IA
We live in a finished basement, when it rains, we have water that comes in the east side of the basement.. We spend numerous hours sucking up water when it rains. We have a sump pump in the southeast corner of the basement and that seems to be the only place that stays dry. Our house sits below the sewer level, so we also have a lift station that backs up occasionally. We would appreciate any help we could get....

I have a basement of an older home that is not finished by any means but have ground water coming in at this time. In fact the ground that surrounds my home consists mostly of clay.I have been advised to put in a sump pump like most of my neighbors have already. I am a single home-owner at this time and don't want to get into $1,000 of dollars of treatment because of the age of my home at this time. On the other hand, I don't want someone to put one in and have it look like a mess when they are done as I am interested in selling my house in the future. What advice can you give me? My basement is semi-finished at this time and contains only my washing machine, dryer, and storage at this time. Most of the old tile I did have on the floor is now coming up piece by piece because the water is not only coming up through the floor now, but also on the entire northwest side of my house. Years back, they did some digging there and now the soil is beginning to settle. I have made plans to have soil brought so that I can level this off better in hopes that it will take care of some of the drainage I am receiving at this time. I also have 4 small windows that definitely need replacement, too. I have a 900 sq. ft. house with 1/2 of it being crawl space. So, could you give me a general estimate of what it might cost me to fix my problem basement? Thank you for your time.
Project Location: Belmond, IA
We have a 28x56 foot basement which is mostly finished, except for the utility room. We have an existing sump pump, but in 2008 when power went off we had water in the basement. Pryor to this, we never had water, or needed the pump. An estimate on replacing our current pump to one with a backup pump would be appreciated.A permanent pump that's always in place sounds good.
