We bought a house on Holiday Lake late last summer. There is a finished master bedroom and bath on the lower level. There is a walkout basement (cement slab) where water pools after heavy rains and snow melt. Water is seeping in the door.

I have cracks in basement concrete floor and some of the block walls and would like an estimate.

We have tiled and cemented around our house in 2012. It worked really well for the first couple of years, but had water in the basement in December with all the rain in the winter. We had the tiled checked with a camera a couple of weeks ago and was told that the tile was clear.. We had the ground built up around the house two weeks ago with downspouts put in the ground away from the house. We had a window well put in on the corner of the north wall. After it rains there is condensation and moist spots along the north wall on the basement floor. This moisture usually goes away after a few days. It rained last Thursday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The condensation usually dries up, but it has stayed. This concerns me that the water is pushing against the wall and not draining. I have not noticed this on any other walls. I do not want to dig around the house again. I have talked to other people and they have done the interior tiling. I would just want a good idea of how much this would cost. I'm tired of worrying about water coming in the basement. I have talked to you before and was very impressed. Thank you for your time.

Would like to raise part of my driveway about 1 3/4" to 2" in front of the garage doors about 7' out and the full width of garage 25'? or so. It settled after 21 years. It does have 3/8 steel and wire mesh in the concrete. Maybe some fence posts also, a retired farmer put it in.

Our house doesn't have basement it had a single stall garage under one end that I changed in to a family room. When we get a hard rain water comes in from the crawl space.
Project Location: Brooklyn, IA
I don't have a basement, but only a dugout and there was a single stall garage under the other end. My area is made up of hills with a several springs, when we get a lot of rain I have water running from under the dugout portions, I think it is coming from under the footings. So I'm not sure what can be done short of putting a basement put in, so I just need an idea of the cost.
