This customer had a dirt crawlspace that was causing problems like moisture, cold air, warm air, and bugs getting into their home. To fix this, we used CleanSpace encapsulation and drainage matting. The CleanSpace was attached to the walls with special wall anchors to keep out moisture and other things from outside. It was also installed on the dirt floor to stop moisture from the soil and groundwater. The drainage matting helped with the waterproofing too. We suggested installing a sump pump or smart drain to remove any water that might come in. With the combination of smart drains, drainage matting, CleanSpace, and sump pumps, the homeowner now has a protected and safe crawlspace that can be used for storage without worry.

We sent Service Technician Braydon Aker to inspect the walls and determine the reason why moisture was on the walls so that he could give the best solution for this problem. Finally, our team addressed the support problems by using SmartJacks and adding supplemental beams to even out the floor as well as installing a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to finish protecting the support beams from moisture.
