Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This customer wanted to keep his basement dry and get rid of his ugly water-stained walls. During our inspection of the basement, we also found some efflorescence forming. To fix these problems, we installed a WaterGuard, CleanSpace, a TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. 

This customer just moved into her home a year ago and gave us a call because she wanted to know all there is to know about waterproofing and what systems they currently had in place. While we were at her home we discovered there was a blockage in the discharge line to one of her pumps that a landscaping wall had crushed. In order to get the line to work we had to dig a new trench over the wall and replace the ice guard, the lawn scape discharge, and the drain line. 

This homeowner had bought 3 different dehumidifiers in the last 3 years, and they had all failed on him. He was very confused as to why, so while he was doing his annual maintenance on his sump pump, he asked our Service Technician Austin Dermody to take a look at his latest failed dehumidifier.

Austin found that the unit that failed was too small and not providing enough power for the entire basement, so in trying to dehumidify the homeowner's basement, it broke. Austin knew the right dehumidifier for this homeowner, so he installed a SaniDry Sedona that would properly dehumidify the larger basement of the homeowner.

Michael discussed with the homeowner some options for waterproofing as well as fixing the small drainage system, and the homeowner decided to start with fixing the drainage system. Our installation team installed 2 TripleSafe Sump Pump Systems included 4 IceGuards which protect the sump pump from freezing over in the winter. These sump pumps will also help to pump water out of the basement as opposed to the previous drainage system which only ran water downhill.
